Invitation for Patient Representatives: Bowel Screening Governance Reference Group

NHS National Services Scotland are looking for Patient Representatives to join their Bowel Screening Governance Reference Group. See this document for further information.

Please note any individual who is interested should be eligible for bowel screening (aged 50-74 and resident in Scotland) and that this group meets three times a year in Edinburgh.

Social Isolation Strategy – Scottish Government

The Scottish Government has recently published their attached strategy on tackling social isolation and loneliness.

The Vision:

A Scotland where individuals and communities are more connected, and everyone has the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships regardless of age, stage, circumstances or identity.

NHS 24 Engagement Event

NHS 24 will host a public engagement event on Thursday 31 January 2019, as part of their 2017/18 Annual Review.

The event will take place at the Golden Jubilee Hotel and Conference Centre in Clydebank from 1pm – 3pm and will provide stakeholders with an opportunity not only to learn more about the services NHS 24 provide, but also how NHS 24 contributes to the wider provision of health and social care services in Scotland.

Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival at 1pm, with a start time of 1.30pm.
